Anna Kogler is a PhD student in the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department, advised by Dr. William Tarpeh. Her research focuses on development and evaluation of electrochemical technologies for recovery of nitrogen from wastewater. She has worked as an operator at the Codiga Resource Recovery and a consultant in water and wastewater treatment in California. Her research focuses on extracting nitrogen from wastewater for reuse and the applications of these processes. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2016 with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
