Programs

The Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment is home to three interrelated research programs working to ensure a safe, sustainable supply of freshwater around the globe. The Global Freshwater Initiative and Program on Water, Health & Development address questions facing water managers throughout the world. Our third program, Water in the West, focuses on solving water issues facing the western United States.
