Water, Sanitation and Health

The links between water, sanitation, hygiene and health are intuitively obvious yet persistently challenging to document in a scientifically rigorous way. WHD researchers employ both experimental and non-experimental approaches to evaluate the health impacts of improvements in water supply and sanitation services, as well as in hygiene behaviors.
